Of irregular shape, this brush pot is naturalistic carved out of a bamboo section. The body is carved and pierced in medium-relief with gnarled pine trees rising on one side. With natural crevice and knots, the other side is left undecorated in appreciation of the fine pattern of bamboo. Qing Dynasty Period.
