The censer is of compressed bulbous form with two elephant-shaped handles to the sides. It raised on a low circular ring foot to a flaring mouth rim. The bottom is cast with author inscription and mark 'Xuan De Wu Nian Wu Bang Zuo Zao' mark, reading as made by Wu Bangzuo in the fifth year of Xuande reign. Ming Dynasty Period.
