Finely double-side pierce carved, the rectangular screen depicts a scene of carps jumping through dragon gate amidst ocean waves, clouds, and pine trees, all within a roundel, the four edges carved with plum flowers, orchid flowers, bamboo, and chrysanthemum flowers, representing Mei Lan Zhu Ju, all on top of rectangular section relief carved with lotus flowers in three panels, inset into en-suite stand, carved with peony flowers in two rectangular sections, the skirt carved with cloud, ruyi, and line patterns, the side supports pierce carved with flower vines, the base stand carved with flowers and tendrils. The wood is of natural orange-brown color with dark spots and grains. Qing Dynasty period.
