Of pear-shape, this snuff bottle is finely carved out of cinnabar stone with an unusual opening facing the side. The body is incised in low relief with two confronting bats facing a central medallion of coins. The reverse is incised with two bats facing a peach hanging on the leafy branch. Qing Dynasty Period.
