Of compressed cylindrical form, the finial arches similar to a bridge, the round ear-like handle shaped with slight edge, the short spout raises upwards, the body’s one side incised with blooming plum flowers, and the other side incised with poem calligraphy, artist marked "Ren Ganting". Three character "Wang Yinchun" mark on the bottom, and two character "Yinchun" mark beneath the lid. Wang Yinchun (1897-1977) was born in Jiangsu Zhenjiang within a poor family. At age of 13, he started to study pottery making under Master Jin Ashou, and he became famous during 1921 in Shanghai area for making quality teapots within short period of time.
