Of globular form with flat bottom, the design purposely coarse, showing visible Zisha grains and gold grains, the connecting points such as handle, spout, and finial remains undecorated. Shao Wenyuan, active during Qing Dynasty Qianlong period, was a famous pottery maker in the Yixing Shushang Shao family.

此壺就如一顆小圓球，平底，蓋為嵌入式，上有一粒珠為蓋鈕，把手如一彎月，壺咀三彎流，流口向上，流量順暢，整體線條流暢，造型粗礦，外觀紫砂顆粒明顯，壺身夾金砂，給人古樸敦實之感。採用手工製作，介面部痕跡明顯，沒有刻意修飾。邵文元，清乾隆時期宜興蜀山邵氏家族中紫砂高手，生卒不詳。
