Of globular form imitating Imperial lantern design, with smooth surface and patina, the handle rounded similar to a ear, the spout in "Sanwanliu" design, the lid with a bead finial. Bottom with four character artist mark "Lu Caiting". Late Ming or early Qing Dynasty period. Not much information is available for the artist, but the well-made teapot remains excellent condition.

此壺泥料細膩堅實，包漿飽滿，整體觀之古意怏然，三彎流，細緻，耳形壺把，脛，肩，頸飽滿，嵌入式壺蓋，結構嚴實，整體線條剛柔秉之，明末清初之小壺，能一手盈握者，必屬精工細作之佳品。露採廷，作者生卒無從考，實屬遺憾，然此壺至今能保存良好，實為不可多得也。
