Of long cylindrical form, the teapot was well potted with dark red exterior, the body incised with poem calligraphy, artist signature and mark. One minor chip on the rim. Li Wankang, a rich businessman from Jiangsu Nantong area during Qing Tongzhi Dynasty, loves Yixing zisha stoneware, and he spends heavily on custom designed Yixing stoneware. This brush remains in good condition after many years. The brush pot was featured on "Yi Tao Zhi Lu", published by Li You Ren Tao Yi Company, publish date Republic of China calendar year 84, June 1st.

此書畫筒胎泥堅實，製作嚴謹，清同治時期之作品，參考《宜陶之旅》，第325頁，再版日期中華民國84年6月1日。李萬康，江蘇南通人，地方士紳，喜好紫砂，常以重金訂製各類器物。此筆筒保存良好，實得不易，值得收藏。
