Of compressed globular form, the mostly flat shoulder has a sharp edge, tapering suddenly to the foot ring, the handle with similar accented round and sharp ear form, the spout curves slightly upwards, the finial in the form of a bridge, the shoulder carved with two lines of Chinese calligraphy. The lid with two character mark "Xin Zhou", the handle with an illegible mark, the bottom with four character "Ri Ling Shan Fang" mark. He Xinzhou’s official store mark is Man Tuo Hua Guan. Ri Ling Shan Fang is Mei Diaoding’s store, also known as the famous Yuchengyao Qiln, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang.

蓋款心舟，把款模糊，看似心舟款，壺底日嶺山房。此壺型飛碟狀，蓋鈕為橋狀，把手半圓形，看似簡潔有力，壺咀上翹，流水暢順。河心舟的堂號為曼陀華館，日嶺山房為梅調鼎的堂號，即為當時的浙江寧波建立的玉成窯。
