The embroidery is worked in satin stitch in shades of red, blue, white, gold, green, and black, with a central four-clawed dragon and flaming pearl, above ocean waves and clouds; the top embroidered with a “Shou” character below leafy tendrils, the bottom embroidered a Qilin flying over ocean waves and lotus flowers, and in-between embroidered a lotus flower amongst leafy tendrils enclosed in clouds.
