Of rectangular form, one side molded with four Chinese characters "Chi Wu Yuan Nian", the other side elegantly carved with plum flowers, bamboo, and viewing stones in a few strokes, the spout, handle, and finial all in mostly angular forms. Bottom with four character "Cha Shu Xiang Wen" mark, and a two character mark "Shen Xi" beneath the lid.
