The inlaid mother-of-pearl furniture set includes two armchairs, two flower stands, and one square table. The armchair's backsplat pierce carved with two confronting dragons with a large round stone of gray color at center, frames decorated with flowers and vines patterns, similar motif on the armrest and legs, with plum flowers on the skirt, stands on four hoof legs. The square table's surface decorated with flower and vine patterns, mixed with figures of pagodas, people, hut, and other auspicious symbols, the hoof legs decorated with osmanthus flower patterns. The two en-suite flower stands also decorated with similar motif flower patterns. Qing Dynasty period. Provenance: Estate of Thomas Chang of United States
