Of double gourd form, the gilt bronze censer stands on three legs extending from elephant mask, the body decorated with flying dragon and phoenix amidst clouds, a pair of rising handles extending from elephant masks in similar motif as the legs, the lid surmounted by a resting elephant carriage, and the bottom bears six characters "XUANDE" mark. 19th century.
