The body of drum shape, supported by round foot ring, with sharp shoulder, waisted neck, and flaring lip, completed by two small handles. Vase gilt decorated overall with scenes of official and his family in garden and court setting, in-between the lobes depicts flowers, banana leaves, vines, all between scrolling flower band on top and scrolling ocean wave band on bottom. Bottom bears four characters "KANGXI" mark.
