The censer has a flattened rectangular body with rounded edges, supported by a straight but flat foot, situated on top of a stand. The sides carved with two scenes, one depicting soldier and farmer in the farm fields, while the other depicting monk and scholar in the garden. A pair of lion mask handles on the sides, and flower pattern band around the neck. The cover has pierced carved flowers, with a lion finial on the very top.
