The lacquer plaque is decorated with jade, Shoushan soapstone, tigerseye, jasper, boxwood, Zitan wood, and other precious materials, composing a birds and flowers scene, with two birds perched on branches of pomegranate, above patches of flowers, rocks, and lingzhi. The plaque is encased in low relief carved frame, fitted in an en suite low relief carved wooden stand. Late Qing Dynasty period.
