The pair of ivory Meiren figures were well carved, with elaborate robes, beautiful ornaments, and serene expressions. One Meiren is holding a painting scroll, while the other Meiren is holding a brooch of flowers and a flower basket. Both figures were decorated slightly with color pigments. Good age patina.
