This figural ivory group was delicately carved with two pierce carved peaches on the mountain top. One peach has two women in it, a mother and her daughter, are enjoying the scenery of the garden. A man is inside the other peach, reading a book. Encircling the two peaches are four cranes flying amidst the clouds. At the midsection of the mountain, a figural group of a mother and her daughter were carved to cross a wooden bridge. A child carrying a bundle of hay was also carved at the bottom of the mountain. The child was followed by his grandfather, who was carrying a hoe and riding on a donkey. An old man boating beneath the stone bridge, and a young man sitting on the bow, guiding the way. At the base of the carving, an old man wearing a hat is depicted on the edge of the lotus pond. The piece comes with the original carved wood stand.
