This famille rose Guanyin statue was executed with a serene face, half open eyes, and smiling mouth. She is dressed in well detailed robe with maroon colored scarf donning over her head. She is seated in dhyanasana, with her hands holding a medallion painted with a Yin-Yang symbol. The original wooden stand bears a bronze plaque stating: "PRESENTED TO F. H. CLOVER ESQ BY THE CHINESE ENGINEERING STAFF HONG KONG TRAMWAYS LTD", and a well wishing phrase of eight Chinese characters. Republic period.
