This beautiful white jade seal was of Hetian origin. One phase of the seal was carved with design of magpie bird perched on a blossoming peach branch. The carving nicely retained some part of original skin in the composition. The other side of the seal was carved with four Chinese characters: "XI SHANG MEI SHAO", signifying the arrival of happiness and prosperity.
