This jar is of uniform bright yellow glaze, accompanied by the original Zitan cover and stand. The rectangular and high footed base rises to a thin waist, then widens towards the top, forming a trapezoid shape. Two beast patterned handles rounds out the otherwise angular jar. The top, waist, and base all carry different patterns, as well as the Zitan cover and base. The base bears a six character incised "TONGZHI" mark. Qing Dynasty period.
