古代遺存的靈璧觀賞石很少，這件老化自然溫潤的古靈璧石山子，表現出了靈璧石的絕大多數優點，色、質、紋、形均可觀可賞。難得的是石中現有幾孔，更顯靈透，這是靈璧石中極少有的。此山子配古舊原裝硬木座也頗可貴。
