The dish finely enamelled to the interior with a powerful five clawed dragon leaping from turbulent waves, the outer border further painted with two flying dragons amidst floral scrolls, the exterior decorated in similar fashion, all supported on a short straight foot painted with turbulent waves, the base inscribed with eleven character 'Chong Zhen' mark. Ming Dynasty Chongzhen period.
