Of shallow rounded sides, the finely potted washer is covered overall with an attractive blueish green glaze suffused with network of light ice crackles, the washer base with five spur marks, accompanied with a stand and a Japanese wood box. Song Dynasty period.

此洗口微敞，裡外施釉，平底無足，釉色呈天青色，猶如雨過放晴的天空呈現出的淡雅自然青色，正如宋徽宗之名句: “雨過天晴雲破處,者般顏色作將來”。底部有五細小支釘痕，釉汁厚潤細膩，平滑猶如堆脂，滋潤柔和，撫之如玉如絹。更為難得的是整器品相完整，此洗之珍貴不言而喻。配原裝日本木盒。來源：南加州聖地亞哥家族收藏，上世紀70-80年代購於日本
