The set consists of a teapot with globular form supported on a short foot, set with a tapered spout opposite a 'C'-shaped handle, the exterior finely carved in low relief with a garden landscape scene, the domed cover similarly decorated with pine trees below a finial in the form of a lotus bud; and four cups carved with a row of lotus petals around the foot.
