Of rectangular form made of wood, in the middle exquisitely and skillfully modelled a carved white jade figure of Guanyin standing on a wood stand fitted to the rectangular screen, the figure wearing a layered robe draped over softly rounded shoulders and opening at the chest, the figure grasping the robe in the right hand and with the left hand gracefully holding a scrolling paper, the face with a benevolent and peaceful expression and flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair drawn up into an elaborate chignon and secured with a crown and ruyi-headed pin, the stone of translucent white tone.
