Heavily cast with a serene expression and gently downcast eyes, the head of the Buddha with elongated ears and clearly defined eyebrows and lips, surmounted by a domed usnisha left ungilt and fronted by an urna. Ming Dynasty period.

此殘件是釋迦牟尼佛的佛頭。此尊佛頭頂有肉髻，寶珠頂嚴。寬額，細長的彎眉，雙眼俯視，隆鼻挺秀，雙唇微啟，大耳垂穿孔。整尊佛首給人以安詳，靜穆，崇高之感。此佛頭應為大型供奉佛像的部分，頭部即有如此尺寸，可見原佛像之體型巨大，至今仍可想象全像當年之原貌，不失其殊缺美。
