Straight mouth, flowing shoulders, hanging belly, this Qing Chien-lung Period square vase is lacquered inside and on the base in black, and the exterior in a deep and brilliant crimson lacquer. The body is carved with brocade of lotus flowers and auspicious objects, and a reserve panel on the front, back, and the two sides. Each reserve panel depicts a garden scene, with a fair lady attending to her children. The carvings on this piece is exquisite, fluid, precise, and painstakingly detailed. The expressions on the ladies and children are adorable and moving. The technical and aesthetic achievements are unsurpassed, and it is truly a rare piece to be preserved until this day in such exceptional conditions. Accompanied with original rosewood stand and box. Qing Dynasty Qianglong period.

方直口, 溜肩, 垂腹, 高圈足, 器形狀碩, 瓶內及底髹黑漆, 瓶身滿飾番蓮與暗八仙紋。四面開光, 錦地飾美人帶子圖, 姿態生動優雅。 童子臉微揚, 身形豐圓, 動態各異, 或扭打地上, 或侍侯美人側,活潑可愛。漆色紅潤, 刀法流轉, 手法精緻細膩銳利, 構圖推展平順, 作五層深雕, 實淸乾隆一朝精工之作, 罕見非常。
