Modelled in the shape of a boat, the exterior finely painted in gilt with carps leaping from the crashing waves below against coral-red ground, the interior enamelled in grisaille with a continous scene of dragon amid clouds, the interior base further depicting similar decoration of carp emerging from wave and seal mark. The turquoise glazed bottom bears a four character Qianlong mark. Qing Dynasty period.
