One vessel is of baluster form, the body painted with blossoming peony flowers, with bird perched on the branches flourished with green leaves, the reverse with Chinese calligraphy poem, the gilt handles in elephant head shape, and the bottom with four character mark. The other vessel in tall cup form, the body supported by elongated splayed foot with Chinese characters, the body painted with birds perched on tree branches, the reverse with poem, and the cover finial in shape of mythical beast. Early Republic period.
