The rectangular vessel supported on four legs, decorated on each side with two confronted stylized mythical beasts, with raised flanges on the four corners, the rim is decorated with beaded pattern. The cover is of elaborate openwork of dragon amid clouds design, topped with a white jade carved bird finial. The stand is inlaid on top with a white jade medallion with low-relief figural scene, and delicately decorated in openwork with foliage on the each side. Qing Dynasty period.
