The entire teapot emphasizes “Square”, with body, handle, spout, finial, lid all well proportioned squares. The body also carved with poetry calligraphy. Two character mark “Wan Quan” beneath the lid.


此壺整器均為方型,方直流,方壺身,方蓋、鈕,方執把,四方足,端正挺拔,壺身兩側均刻有詩文。
Jiang Delin, surname Wan Quan, did study under any famous Master teapot makers, but from his own talent and hard work, he became a master craftsman himself. He has made many different types of Yixing zisha stoneware, including teapot, planter, cup, plate, and assorted study room accessories. He was a renowned Yixing zisha stoneware maker among the people and the peers.
蔣德林,字萬泉,工博直,雖無所師承,而藝極精,凡茗壺、盆、柸、盤、及一切書案陳設、器具色色工致,為一時之冠,士林重之。
